Biography[]
When everyone is being killed, Tom and another woman named Lydia went to get Malorie Hayes, however, Lydia sees one of the monsters, whom she refers to as her mother and is immolated in a car explosion as her husband Douglas watches in horror. As Tom brings the injured Malorie with the help of another survivor named Lucy, where she meets the other survivors: Douglas, Greg, the owner of the house that the survivors are residing, an elderly woman named Cheryl, married couple Jason and Samantha, Lucy's boyfriend Felix, and a supermarket employee named Charlie.
Tom tends to Malorie as she explains about her sister Jessica and Lydia's suicides. A few days later, a woman knocks on the front door and asks to be let in. Douglas refuses to open it, but Malorie grabs a rifle and points it at Douglas and tells Tom to open the door.
