Abraham Jamal Hamadeh[1] (born May 15, ) is an American politician, former prosecutor, and U.S. Army intelligence officer,[2] who is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Arizona's 8th congressional district, serving since He is a member of the Republican Party.
Hamadeh was the Republican nominee for Arizona attorney general in the election, narrowly losing to DemocratKris Mayes by votes.
Early life and education
[edit]Hamadeh was born in Chicago, Illinois, and later moved to Phoenix, Arizona. He is the youngest child in a family of Syrian immigrants and grew up in a mixed-faith household, with a Muslim father and a Druze mother.[3][4]
Hamadeh attended Arizona State University for his undergraduate degree and later earned his Juris Doctor from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. While attending law school, the Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys' Advisory Council awarded Hamadeh the Udall Fellowship.[5]
Military service

DETROIT (WXYZ) — U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin will win the U.S. Senate race in Michigan, ABC News has projected.
Wednesday afternoon, the congresswoman addressed news media in a ballroom at Motor City Casino.
Slotkin said, “So as your senator, my primary job will be to expand the middle class by creating jobs with dignity, attacking the costs that are eating through biggest bites out of people’s budgets and creating a tax policy that lets Michiganders keep more of what they earn.”
